To celebrate the 5th anniversary of SIDNEY & FRIENDS' World Premiere at the 2018 BFI Flare: London's LGBTQ+ Festival, the multi-award-winning feature documentary is now available to watch for free on YouTube, until May 1st, 2023.

SIDNEY & FRIENDS achieved more than 100 festival screenings in 28 countries, and won 13 Best Documentary Awards (plus 11 additional award nominations).

Directed by Tristan Aitchison (the writer/director behind the award-winning 2014 short film CARE)—and executive produced and scored by Paul Terry (with featured vocals by Silas Miami and Lana Crowster)—SIDNEY & FRIENDS, shot entirely in Kenya, has been called “one of the most impacting and breathtaking reflections of intersex and trans life.” (Intersex UK)

SIDNEY & FRIENDS tells the story of Sidney, who is intersex. When his family tries to kill him, Sidney flees to Nairobi, where he meets a group of transgender friends. Together, they fight discrimination and discover life, love and self-worth.

SIDNEY & FRIENDS' award wins include: the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at NewFest: New York’s LGBTQ Film Festival (presented by HBO); Best Documentary at the Transgender Film Festival in Germany; Best Film at the Madrid Film and Human Rights Festival; and Best Documentary at the OMOVIES Film Festival in Italy.

Additionally, SIDNEY & FRIENDS' award nominations for Best Documentary include: the United Nation's IOM Global Migration Film Festival; the Lili Award at MIX Copenhagen LGBTQ+ Film Festival; Sole Luna Doc Film Festival in Italy; TWIST Seattle Queer Film Festival; and a Best Film Score Award nomination at New York's Independent Music Awards. After multiple screenings at the legendary TCL Chinese Theatere in Hollywood, California, the award-nominated short thriller HIDDEN VALLEY PLACE is now available to watch for free on both YouTube and ShortVerse.

Nominated for the Jury Prize for Best Thriller at the Cannes World Film Festival, HIDDEN VALLEY PLACE is from director/co-writer Bartley Taylor (Colony, Parallax), co-writer Julia Cooperman (Disney's Willow, The Winchesters), associate producer Ryan J. Condal (House of the Dragon, Colony), and composer/associate producer Paul Terry (Dave Stevens: Drawn to Perfection, Sidney & Friends).

HIDDEN VALLEY PLACE sees a Los Angeles couple welcome a new house-sitter, Cassie, into their chic Laurel Canyon home. As Cassie gets used to her new surroundings, she uncovers a secret about the house, and her much-needed getaway turns into a nightmare.

Paul's score for the thriller was mixed by Emmy and two-time Grammy Award winner Sam Okell (The Beatles: Get Back, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse). The soundtrack was mastered by award-winning mastering engineer Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios.

The complete, 18-track HIDDEN VALLEY PLACE (ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK) includes 4 bonus tracks—new versions of 4 songs featured in the film—rearranged by Paul Terry and mixed by Sam Okell. It features cover art by AD Allegretti. The Special Edition on Bandcamp comes with an exclusive 32-page digital booklet, featuring a foreword by director Bartley Taylor, composer production notes, behind-the-scenes photos, promo art, stills from the film, and more.

The cast of HIDDEN VALLEY PLACE, led by Rosa Procaccino (The Big Night, Clara), includes Corey Landis (Rutherford Falls, That '70s Show), Maxi Witrak (Stage Fright, Visage), and Sam Spanjian (Modern Family, There's... Johnny!). The crew includes award-winning cinematographer Daniel Steven Williams (James Arthur feat. Travis Barker: You), casting director Angela Young (Locke & Key, Clarice), and editor Joe Carugati (Rosebud, Project Dead Zone).

Additionally, Dave Stevens: Drawn to Perfection (Original Soundtrack) is also out now, composed and produced by Paul Terry. It contains the complete musical score and the songs featured in the film, totally 48 tracks with a runtime of 78 minutes.

The soundtrack is mixed by Jim Cushinery (mixer of the Sundance Grand Jury Prize nominated documentary For The Bible Tells Me So), and mastered by award-winning mastering engineer Alex Wharton (Paul McCartney, Radiohead) at Abbey Road Studios.

The cover art, with illustrations of The Rocketeer and Bettie Page by Dave Stevens, is designed by Serban Cristescu (Futurama, Disenchantment). This soundtrack album also makes history for SkyBabyRecords as its 50th release. The official promo poster is below:
