Hidden Valley Place (Original Soundtrack) + Teaser Trailer Released

Hidden Valley Place is the new thriller short film from director/co-writer Bartley Taylor (Colony, Parallax), co-writer Julia Cooperman (Absentia, Jupiter's Legacy), and associate producer Ryan J. Condal (co-creator of the Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon, Colony).

The film features an original score (out now on SkyBabyRecords) composed, produced and performed by Independent Music Award nominee Paul Terry (Sidney & Friends, Care), mixed by Emmy and two-time Grammy Award winner Sam Okell (The Beatles: Get Back, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), and mastered by award-winning mastering engineer Alex Wharton (Paul McCartney, Radiohead) at Abbey Road Studios. As well as being Hidden Valley Place's composer, Paul Terry is also an associate producer on the film.

Hidden Valley Place sees a Los Angeles couple welcome a new house-sitter, Cassie, into their chic Laurel Canyon home. As Cassie gets used to her new surroundings, she uncovers a secret about the house, and her much-needed getaway turns into a nightmare... A teaser trailer for the film has been released:

The complete, 18-track Hidden Valley Place (Original Soundtrack) includes 4 bonus tracks—new versions of 4 songs featured in the film—rearranged by Paul Terry and mixed by Sam Okell.

The soundtrack is available now on all music platforms, with cover art by AD Allegretti. There is also a Special Edition on Bandcamp which comes with an exclusive 32-page digital booklet, featuring a foreword by director Bartley Taylor, composer production notes, behind-the-scenes photos, promo art, stills from the film, and more. The official promo video for the soundtrack, featuring AD Allegretti's artwork, and edited by Len Ciccotello, is below:

The cast of Hidden Valley Place, led by Rosa Procaccino (The Big Night, Clara), includes Corey Landis (Rutherford Falls, That '70s Show), Maxi Witrak (Stage Fright, Visage), and Sam Spanjian (Modern Family, There's... Johnny!). The crew includes award-winning cinematographer Daniel Steven Williams (James Arthur feat. Travis Barker: You), casting director Angela Young (Locke & Key, Clarice), and editor Joe Carugati (Rosebud, Project Dead Zone). The film will be screening soon on the international film festival circuit.
